Lifts ("the App") is a fitness tracking application developed by Bad Ivy (ABN 58 108 337 466) ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

This policy complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Our Privacy Commitment

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers. All your workout data, settings, and preferences remain entirely on your device.

Data Storage

Local Data Only

All data created within the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage frameworks:

• Workout templates and programs
• Exercise history and personal records
• User preferences and settings
• Subscription status

This data is stored in your device's private app container and is not accessible to other apps or transmitted over the internet.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled for the App, your data may sync across your Apple devices through Apple's iCloud service. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Apple Watch Sync

The App syncs workout data between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's secure local communication protocols (WatchConnectivity and HealthKit). This sync happens directly between your devices without passing through any external servers.

Notifications

The App may send local notifications (e.g., rest timer alerts). These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

Live Activity

The App displays workout information on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island using Apple's Live Activity feature. This information is displayed locally on your device and is not transmitted externally.

HealthKit Integration

The App integrates with Apple HealthKit to:

• Record workout sessions and earn Activity Ring credit
• Read heart rate data during workouts (if available)
• Track calories burned during workouts

Important:

• HealthKit data access requires your explicit permission
• We do not read any HealthKit data beyond what is necessary for workout tracking
• We never share or sell HealthKit data
• HealthKit data remains on your device and in your personal Health app

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to Lifts Premium:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store
• We do not have access to your payment information
• Your subscription status is verified locally through Apple's StoreKit framework

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your data with any third parties.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is designed for general audiences interested in fitness tracking.

Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• Apple's device encryption
• App sandbox isolation
• Secure local storage frameworks
• No network transmission of personal data

Your Rights

Since all data remains on your device:

• Access: You can view all your data within the App
• Deletion: Delete the App to remove all associated data, or use in-app options to clear specific data
• Portability: Your workout data syncs with Apple Health, which you can export

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
